Michael David Conrad was a dear friend of mine. We met at an open mic in 2011 and became fast friends. We would spend hours at a time talking about music and life. A couple years ago, we made a deal together. He had been battling with cancer for a few years at that time and told me he always wanted to release an album. He had a dream of being able to leave a legacy behind of some of his favorite work. It took many hours of conversation, recording and re-recording, mixing and re-mixing...
